Building a worship set is about so much more than choosing songs and putting them in order. It's about knowing how to minister to the Lord, preparing spiritually and practically, and leading people into a place of genuine worship with every eye fixed on Jesus.
Join Presence Driven Worship for a four-week master class designed to equip worship pastors, worship leaders, musicians, and those called to lead corporate worship with both the biblical foundations and practical tools needed to build intentional, Spirit-led worship sets.
Throughout this course, we'll explore the heart behind worship, how to prepare for corporate gatherings, the purpose of different song categories, and how to build a set that flows with intentionality while remaining sensitive to the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
WHAT WE'LL COVER
WEEK 1 | Ministering to the Lord
Before we lead people in worship, we must first understand our calling to minister to Jesus. We'll establish the biblical foundation of worship, explore the priestly responsibility of worship leaders, and discuss how our private devotion shapes our public leadership.
WEEK 2 | How to Prepare for Corporate Worship
Healthy worship leadership begins long before Sunday morning. We'll discuss spiritual preparation, prayer, planning, and practical ways to approach corporate worship with intentionality while leaving room for the Holy Spirit to lead.
WEEK 3 | Song Categories & The Set Journey
Not every song carries the same purpose within a worship gathering. We'll explore different song categories, how they function together, and how to intentionally build a worship journey that helps a congregation engage, respond, and minister to the Lord.
WEEK 4 | The Practical Tool Set
Let's put it all together! We'll dive into the practical side of set list building, including song selection, keys, BPM's, time signatures, band communication, transitions, musical flow, team preparation, and the tools that help worship leaders build cohesive, intentional sets and connection with the team.
